Indo-Tech Transformers Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) dated August 28, 2026, from Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited for the manufacture and supply of five power transformers. The aggregate value of the order is ₹55 crore plus applicable taxes, according to a regulatory disclosure by the company.
Under the order, Indo-Tech Transformers will manufacture and supply three 170 MVA/175 MVA power transformers and two 125 MVA power transformers. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity.
The five transformers are scheduled to be executed between January 2027 and April 2027. The company’s disclosure lists the broad consideration or size of the order as ₹54 crore plus applicable taxes, rounded off.
Indo-Tech Transformers stated that neither its promoter/promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the order. The company also confirmed that the order does not fall within related party transactions.
The company further confirmed that the transaction does not fall within the definition of a related party transaction under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
Indo-Tech Transformers said the order value is significant compared with transactions undertaken in the ordinary course of business and has therefore been considered a material event.
