Power Mech Projects Limited has secured an order worth ₹327.35 crore, excluding GST, from Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited for operation and maintenance services at a coal-fired co-generation power plant in Odisha. The contract will run for 48 months.
The scope of work includes end-to-end operation and maintenance of 130 MW of power generation capacity, comprising two 50 MW units and one 30 MW unit, along with operation and maintenance of the balance of plant (BOP) for an additional 90 MW at the coal-fired co-generation power plant located at Vedanta Limited, Kalahandi, Lanjigarh, Odisha.
According to the company’s regulatory filing dated October 19, 2026, the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and falls under the operations and maintenance category.
Power Mech Projects Limited confirmed that neither its promoters, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract. The order also does not fall under related-party transactions.
