H.G. Infra Engineering Limited (HGINFRA) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited for the development of the Inter-State Transmission System under the “WR-ER Inter-Regional Network Expansion Scheme – Part C” in the state of Jharkhand.
The company received the LOI on June 13, 2026, following its earlier announcement regarding the project. The transmission project will be implemented through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.
The awarded scheme is aimed at strengthening the inter-regional power transmission network between the Western Region (WR) and Eastern Region (ER), supporting the expansion of the country’s transmission infrastructure and facilitating reliable power transfer across regions.
H.G. Infra Engineering Limited stated that the details of the project had been previously disclosed as part of its earlier communication issued on May 27, 2026.
The receipt of the LOI marks a significant milestone for the company in expanding its presence in the power transmission sector and reinforces its participation in the development of critical energy infrastructure projects across India.
