Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has secured an Ultra-Mega order from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for the manufacturing and supply of transformers of various ratings along with associated works. The contract further strengthens the company’s position in India’s power transmission and transformer manufacturing sector.
The order has been awarded by PGCIL, one of the country’s leading power transmission utilities. Under the contract, TARIL will manufacture transformers across multiple capacity ratings and execute all related works as stipulated in the award.
The project is scheduled to be executed over the next 30 months, with deliveries planned in accordance with the agreed project timeline.
According to the company’s order classification framework, an Ultra-Mega order represents a contract value of ₹1,000 crore and above, highlighting the significant scale of the award.
