Ola Electric Rolls Out ‘Ola Sona Weekend’ with Benefits up to ₹50,000 for Akshaya Tritiya

Ola Electric has announced the launch of its ‘Ola सोना Weekend’ to mark the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, offering customers benefits worth up to ₹50,000 across its electric vehicle portfolio. The limited-period offers are valid on April 18 and 19, 2026.

As part of the campaign, customers purchasing select models during the offer window will also get a chance to win the exclusive Ola सोना, a limited-edition scooter featuring real 24-karat gold-plated elements. The company is additionally offering its Gen 3 S1 X (2kWh) and Roadster X (2.5 kWh) at a starting price of ₹49,999.

The flagship Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh is being made available at a discounted price of ₹1,39,999, reflecting a reduction of ₹50,000, during a limited purchase window between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on both days. Buyers of this model will also receive a complimentary extended warranty of eight years.

Across the portfolio, Ola Electric is extending discounts of up to ₹40,000, along with credit card EMI benefits worth ₹10,000 on cards issued by Bank of Baroda, Scapia Federal, Yes Bank, IDFC, HSBC, and HDFC Bank. An 8-year extended warranty is also being offered on all products.

An Ola Electric spokesperson stated that the initiative aligns with the spirit of Akshaya Tritiya, symbolising prosperity and new beginnings. The company said the campaign combines aspirational offerings with customer-centric value, highlighting benefits up to ₹50,000 and the opportunity to own the limited-edition Ola सोना. It added that rising demand reflects growing customer confidence in its technology, scale, and vertically integrated EV platform.

The limited-edition Ola S1 Pro सोना integrates real 24-karat gold-plated elements and introduces a “सोना Mood,” featuring a gold-themed interface within the Ola app and a customised MoveOS dashboard. The system allows riders to personalise ride modes and settings for an enhanced riding experience.

Separately, the company has extended the purchase window for its 4680 Bharat Cell-powered Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh. The price reduction—from ₹1,89,999 to ₹1,39,999—has been enabled by economies of scale at its Gigafactory and deep vertical integration of its indigenously developed battery technology. The model is being offered in limited quantities during specific purchase windows, with the company reporting strong demand momentum.

In a related development, Ola Electric recently introduced the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh, powered by its in-house 4680 Bharat Cell. Priced at an introductory ₹1,29,999, the new model aims to expand access to long-range electric scooters in the mass market, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to scale high-performance EV adoption in India.
