The Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) has officially launched the 17th edition of ELECRAMA 2027, scheduled to take place from February 20 to 24, 2027, at India Expo Mart. The upcoming edition will be organised under the theme ‘Harnessing the Power of I’, with a strong emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration.

The event will highlight India’s growing global capabilities while underscoring IEEMA’s role in strengthening the electrical and electronics industry. The theme reflects key pillars including intelligence-led innovation, industry impact, immersive stakeholder experiences, knowledge-driven insights, and enhanced international cooperation for a connected global ecosystem.

A major highlight of the 2027 edition will be its focus on sustainability, safety, and the increasing integration of artificial intelligence and digitalisation within the energy sector. Germany has been designated as the Partner Country, reinforcing IEEMA’s commitment to deepening global partnerships and leveraging international expertise in advanced technologies.

Addressing the launch, Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Government of India, called on the industry to accelerate growth through backward integration and a sharper focus on quality standards.

Providing details of the event масшা, Hartek Singh, Chairman of ELECRAMA, stated that the exhibition will span over 1,10,000 square metres and feature participation from more than 1,100 exhibitors globally, alongside 10 dedicated country pavilions. The event is expected to attract over 5,00,000 visitors and around 500 international buyers. Additionally, more than 25,000 B2B meetings are projected, generating business enquiries estimated at nearly USD 25 billion.

Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Gandotra noted that ELECRAMA has evolved beyond a biennial event to become the largest platform for the electrical and allied sectors. He expressed confidence that the 2027 edition will surpass previous benchmarks and create significant value and business opportunities for the industry.

ELECRAMA 2027 will also host several co-located events, including the World Utility Summit, Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet, Domestic Buyer-Seller Meet, and the Electraverse Showcase. These initiatives aim to foster dialogue, drive innovation, and facilitate business engagement across the energy ecosystem.

The event will further strengthen its focus on emerging segments such as renewable energy, digital energy, and energy storage, showcasing advanced technologies that are shaping the future of the global power sector.
