Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (PIGL) has received an additional work order worth ₹7.13 crore from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited for distribution infrastructure development works in Rajasthan under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
With the latest order, the cumulative contract value awarded to the company has increased to ₹75.35 crore, including taxes. The additional work order comes on top of the earlier contract worth ₹68.22 crore awarded in October 2025.
The project involves the supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of material and equipment for the segregation of 11 kV mixed feeders at the Dungarpur Circle of Ajmer Discom in Rajasthan. The works are being executed on a turnkey basis under tender reference AVVNL/RDSS-FS/DPR/TN-162.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the order has been awarded by a domestic entity under the RDSS programme aimed at strengthening and modernising the power distribution infrastructure across the state.
The scope of work includes the development of distribution infrastructure for feeder segregation under the Revamped Reforms-Based and Results-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). The project is scheduled to be completed within 180 days from the date of award.
Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) stated that neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
