Solterra Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Ghaziabad-based EV charging and power electronics startup, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Taiwan-based power electronics manufacturer and designer Sinpro Electronics Co. Ltd. to distribute EV motors, motor controllers and DC-DC converters in the Indian market.
Under the partnership, Solterra Technologies will offer Sinpro Electronics’ EV powertrain components to customers across India, including electric vehicle manufacturers and mobility companies. The collaboration will also focus on the integration and application of these components for electric mobility solutions in the country.
The partnership brings together Sinpro Electronics’ EV power electronics portfolio and Solterra Technologies’ presence in India’s EV and electrification market. The companies will work together to support the deployment and application of EV powertrain technologies for the Indian electric mobility sector.
As part of its technology and engineering expansion, Solterra Technologies is establishing a new R&D facility in Bengaluru, which is scheduled to be inaugurated on September 18, 2026.
The Bengaluru facility is expected to support product development, engineering, testing and technology adaptation for the Indian market. It will also serve as a base for technical collaboration with technology partners and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
