REC Limited has appointed Ms. Isha Duhan, IAS, as its new Executive Director, with the appointment taking effect from September 10, 2026. The leadership change marks an addition to the company’s senior management team, with Ms. Duhan bringing administrative experience and an academic background in biotechnology and gender development studies.
Ms. Duhan is an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the Uttar Pradesh cadre and belongs to the 2014 batch. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Thapar University and a Master’s degree in Gender Development Studies from IGNOU.
Before joining REC Limited in her new role, Duhan served as the Managing Director in the Sugar Industries & Cane Development Department. Her previous assignment provided her with experience in public administration and sector-specific management.
The appointment is effective from September 10, 2026, as REC Limited strengthens its senior management team with her appointment.
