Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has fully commissioned the Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) in Rajasthan (20 GW) under Phase-III, Part-C1, effective September 22, 2026.
The company received the Date of Commercial Operation (DOCO) notification on October 11, 2026, dated October 7, 2026, confirming the project’s commercial operation.
The project was originally entrusted to POWERGRID Ramgarh II Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of POWERGRID. The subsidiary was amalgamated with POWERGRID Vataman Transmission Limited with effect from March 1, 2026, pursuant to an order issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on January 27, 2026.
