Power Mech Projects Secures ₹970 Crore O&M Order from Vedanta Power

Power Mech Projects Limited has secured a ₹970 crore order from Vedanta Power Limited for end-to-end operations and maintenance (O&M) services at its 2×600 MW Sakti Thermal Plant in Chhattisgarh.

According to the company’s disclosure dated September 9, 2026, the order has been awarded by Vedanta Power Limited (Sakti Thermal Plant) for its coal-based thermal power plant located at village Singhitarai in Sakti district, Chhattisgarh.

The scope of the contract covers end-to-end operations and maintenance services for the 2×600 MW thermal power plant. The contract is classified as a domestic order and relates to operations and maintenance activities.

The order is valued at ₹970 crore, excluding GST, comprising a basic value of ₹890 crore and a ₹80 crore provision for additional services.

Power Mech Projects is required to execute the contract within 60 months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Intent (LOI) or order confirmation. The company confirmed that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity.
