Marsons Limited Secures ₹31.27 Crore Transformer Supply Order from AEGCL

Marsons Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) valued at ₹31.26 crore (including GST) from Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL) for the supply of power transformers and associated services for key substations in Assam.

The order involves the supply of 132/33kV, 50 MVA Power Transformers along with related services for the Durlavcherra, Karimganj, and Srikona substations under AEGCL’s Package-T-3 project. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and is scheduled for execution within a period of 12 months.

Marsons Limited disclosed the development through a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the company, the total value of the order stands at ₹31,26,70,500, inclusive of applicable GST. The project is expected to support the strengthening of power transmission infrastructure in Assam through the deployment of high-capacity transformers at the designated substations.

The company further clarified that neither its promoters, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. It also confirmed that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.
