Komaki Electric Vehicles has expanded its electric two-wheeler portfolio with the launch of two new electric scooters, the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, priced at ₹73,999 and ₹79,999 (ex-showroom), respectively. The company aims to strengthen its position in India’s affordable electric mobility segment by offering premium features typically associated with higher-priced models.
The company said the new models differentiate themselves through all-metal body construction, a feature typically found in higher-priced scooters, while offering a blend of durability, long-range performance and connected features.
The MG Pro V offers a claimed range of 90-100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ extends the claimed range to over 150 km. Both scooters are powered by a BLDC hub motor paired with LiFePO4 battery technology, which the company said is designed to offer improved durability and lower maintenance.
The scooters are equipped with features including mobile app connectivity for monitoring battery health and range, front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, anti-theft lock, parking assist and a repair switch. The MG Pro+ additionally gets a larger storage compartment.
Gunjan Malhotra, Co-Founder, Komaki Electric Vehicles, said, “The electric two-wheeler market has grown rapidly, but affordability should never come at the cost of quality. With the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, we wanted to offer customers features that have traditionally been associated with more expensive vehicles. These include a strong metal body and safe, long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries with a longer lifespan than those found in many electric two-wheelers and ICE vehicles currently available in the market. This combination inspires confidence among customers. It also reflects our commitment to making premium build quality, dependable performance, and modern technology accessible to a much wider audience. We believe customers deserve products that not only look good but are built to withstand everyday Indian road conditions.”
