DMR Engineering Secures ₹1.80 Crore Consultancy Order for 570 MW Bhutan Hydropower Project

DMR Engineering Limited has secured a work order valued at ₹1.80 crore for providing engineering consultancy services for a major hydropower project in Bhutan, the company informed the stock exchange in a regulatory filing dated May 11, 2026.

The contract pertains to consultancy services for the design and engineering of a diversion tunnel along with its associated ancillary works for the 570 MW Wangchhu Hydropower Project. The project is being developed in Bhutan by Wangchhu Hydroelectric Power Limited.

According to the disclosure, the total contract value stands at ₹1,80,07,875 (excluding applicable taxes), and the project is scheduled to be executed over a period of eight months.

The company clarified that the order has been awarded by an international entity and falls under the category of engineering consultancy services.

Further, DMR Engineering confirmed that there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity, and the contract does not qualify as a related party transaction.

This latest order strengthens DMR Engineering’s international project portfolio and reinforces its capabilities in delivering specialized consultancy services for complex hydropower infrastructure projects.
