DMR Engineering Limited has secured an international engineering consultancy contract for the 1,125 MW Dorjilung Hydropower Project in Bhutan, further strengthening its presence in the hydropower infrastructure sector.
The company informed the BSE SME Platform that it has received a work order from Dorjilung Hydro Power Limited, Bhutan, to provide Owner’s Engineer Services (Short-term) for the hydropower project. The contract is valued at ₹2,58,91,500, excluding applicable taxes.
According to the company, the consultancy assignment will be executed over a period of nine months and will involve engineering consultancy services for the development of the large-scale hydropower project.
DMR Engineering stated that the order has been awarded by an international entity and falls under the category of engineering consultancy services. The company also confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding organisation.
Further, the company clarified that the contract does not constitute a related-party transaction.
The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, along with the applicable SEBI circular governing material event disclosures.
