Shirdi Sai Electricals Limited (SSEL) has successfully shipped its first EHV Power Transformer – a 175 MVA, 345 kV manufactured at its Naini manufacturing facility in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
This shipment marks a significant milestone in SSEL’s international business expansion and further strengthens the company’s capabilities in the manufacture of high-capacity EHV power transformers for global markets.
The successful shipment reflects SSEL’s growing ability to deliver advanced power transmission equipment that meets stringent international quality, engineering and performance requirements. It also represents an important step in the company’s continued expansion across global power transmission markets.

SSEL is also working on diversifying and getting ourselves approved across Europe for both Power and Distribution Transformers”

SSEL currently has an aggregate transformer manufacturing capacity of approximately 48,000 MVA across its manufacturing facilities in India. With an established global presence, SSEL is looking to expand its manufacturing base by adding another 110,000 MVA over next couple of years.
The first EHV transformer export to the USA further strengthens SSEL’s global footprint and demonstrates its growing capabilities to serve technically demanding power infrastructure requirements worldwide.
