OIL achieved highest-ever quarterly Standalone PAT, supported by 11% growth in crude oil production 

Oil India Limited, a Maharatna CPSE of Govt. of India, declared its financial results for Q1 FY27, in its 583rd meeting of the Board of Directors held on 7th August 2026. The Company registered its highest ever Standalone PAT at ₹ 2,870 Crore in Q1FY27 vis-à-vis ₹ 813 Crore in Q1 FY26, 2.5 times YoY growth supported by 11% growth in crude oil production and crude oil price realisation of USD 98.73/bbl in Q1FY27. 

OIL achieved a Consolidated PAT of ₹ 4,027 crore in Q1 FY27 vis-à-vis ₹ 2,047 crore in Q1 FY26, growth of 97% YoY. 

In its efforts towards ensuring Nation’s Energy Security, the Company produced 0.950 MMT of crude oil from its matured oilfields in Q1FY27 vis-à-vis 0.853 MMT in Q1 FY26. On 27th June, 2026, OIL has achieved highest ever daily crude oil production of 10,921 MT (84,109 bbl). 

OIL’s material subsidiary NRL achieved a robust 167% growth in PAT, rising to ₹ 1,305 crore in Q1FY27 from ₹ 488 crore in Q1FY26 with a GRM of $ 35.95/bbl vis-à-vis $ 5.02/bbl and Distillate Yield of 87.58% vis-à-vis 85.38%. 

The Company reported discovery of natural gas in the Vijaya Puram-3 exploratory well in the Andaman Basin, reaffirming the basin’s hydrocarbon potential. Further, the Company successfully completed a highly deviated exploratory well, achieving the highest-ever horizontal displacement of 3,116 metres in an onshore well in Assam.
