Sterling Green Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (SGPS), part of the Sterling & Wilson Group and a provider of comprehensive power and sustainable energy solutions, has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Talegaon, near Pune.
The new plant marks the first milestone in the company’s multi-location expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its manufacturing footprint while serving customers across diverse business segments.
The inauguration forms part of SGPS’ long-term capacity augmentation roadmap, which includes the development of additional advanced manufacturing facilities at Chakan MIDC and a new plant planned at Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The expansion is intended to enhance the company’s manufacturing capabilities and support growing demand for reliable power solutions across multiple markets.
The Talegaon manufacturing facility has been established to address the increasing demand for dependable power solutions across India’s commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. The plant will manufacture diesel generator (DG) sets ranging from 100 kVA to 750 kVA, catering to applications in the rental, hospitality, healthcare, education, government, and industrial sectors. Equipped with advanced manufacturing processes, the facility will have an annual production capacity of approximately 1,000 units, primarily targeted at retail customers.

SGPS is targeting key infrastructure and industrial segments, including airports, metro lines, townships, and factories.
