Om Power Transmission Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) for a turnkey project valued at ₹82.17 crore, including GST, for the development of an underground cable network in Gujarat.
The contract involves the conversion of the existing 11 kV high-tension (HT) line and low-tension (LT) line network, including consumer service lines, into an underground cable network with a Ring Main System at the Kaliabid Subdivision (Part-2) of Bhavnagar Circle. The project has been awarded by PGVCL, a domestic power distribution utility.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the project will be executed on a turnkey basis and is aimed at strengthening and modernizing the electricity distribution infrastructure in the region. The scope includes replacing the existing overhead HT and LT network with an underground cable system to enhance reliability, operational efficiency, and power supply continuity.
The total contract value stands at ₹82,17,40,528, inclusive of GST. The execution period for the project is 18 months, following a commencement period of 45 days from the receipt of the Notice of Award (NOA).
Om Power Transmission clarified that neither its promoters, promoter group entities, nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
The company disclosed the development under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and has informed both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited regarding the receipt of the LOA.
