Ravindra Energy Invests ₹150 Crore in Energy In Motion to Strengthen Clean Freight Mobility

Ravindra Energy Limited (REL) has invested approximately ₹150 crore in Energy In Motion Limited (EIM), reinforcing its commitment to advancing clean mobility solutions in India. The investment was made through a rights issue subscription, under which REL subscribed to 45,67,463 equity shares of EIM at an issue price of ₹328.41 per share.

Energy In Motion is an associate company of Ravindra Energy and focuses on integrated electric mobility solutions for long-haul freight transportation. The company deploys heavy-duty electric trucks supported by battery-swapping and charging infrastructure, enabling efficient and sustainable logistics operations while promoting renewable energy-led freight mobility.
The investment has been undertaken in line with the objectives outlined in EIM’s rights issue and will be utilized for financial requirements, including repayment of inter-corporate debt.

The consideration was paid in cash through the banking channel as part of EIM’s equity issuance. EIM allotted equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each at a premium of ₹318.41 per share, taking the total investment by REL to approximately ₹150 crore.

Following the allotment, Ravindra Energy’s stake in Energy In Motion has increased marginally from 49.50% to 49.54%, and EIM will continue to remain an associate entity of the company.

Incorporated in March 2024, Energy In Motion has rapidly expanded its operations in the electric freight mobility segment. The company reported a turnover of ₹5.22 million in FY2024-25 and ₹1,806.88 million in FY2025-26, reflecting significant business growth within a short period.
