KPI Green Energy Limited has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, KPGC One Private Limited (KPGCO), as part of its ongoing expansion in the renewable energy sector. The company informed stock exchanges through a regulatory filing.
The newly incorporated entity was registered on June 18, 2026, and is wholly owned by KPI Green Energy Limited. KPGCO has been established with an authorized and subscribed capital of ₹1 lakh, comprising 10,000 equity shares of ₹10 each.
According to the disclosure, KPGCO will operate in the renewable energy industry and has been incorporated to undertake activities related to the generation, storage, transmission, distribution, purchase, sale, and supply of electricity and other forms of energy from both conventional and renewable sources. These include solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and thermal energy.
The subsidiary will also focus on establishing, owning, developing, operating, and maintaining power plants and energy storage systems, along with carrying out allied and incidental activities associated with the energy business.
KPI Green Energy stated that the incorporation was completed through a cash consideration of ₹1 lakh. The company holds 100 percent shareholding and control in KPGC One Private Limited.
As the entity has been newly incorporated, it has not yet commenced business operations and currently reports nil turnover. No governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the incorporation, the company said.
KPGC One Private Limited is registered with the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad, and its operational presence will be in India.
