Bluspring Enterprises Limited has announced that its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, STEAG Energy Services (India) Private Limited, has been awarded a comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract for Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited’s (VAML) captive power plant with a total installed capacity of 1,215 MW.
The contract covers the operation and maintenance of VAML’s captive power facility comprising nine units of 135 MW each. According to the company’s regulatory filing, the estimated aggregate value of the contract, including additional services, stands at ₹1,437.17 crore, excluding applicable taxes.
The agreement will remain in force for a period of five years, commencing from August 1, 2026. The order has been awarded by Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited, a domestic entity.
Bluspring Enterprises stated that the contract pertains to the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the 1,215 MW captive power plant and forms part of STEAG Energy Services’ ongoing portfolio of power plant management and maintenance services.
The company further disclosed that neither the promoter, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract. It also confirmed that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.
The disclosure was made by Bluspring Enterprises Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
