Digitek Limited has entered into an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Exclusivity Agreement with NEC XON Systems Proprietary Limited, granting the latter exclusive rights to market, distribute, and sell its products, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and related energy solutions across select African markets.
The agreement, executed on April 22, 2026, covers key territories including South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, and Mauritius. The development has been disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Under the terms of the agreement, NEC XON will serve as the exclusive partner for promoting Pace Digitek’s product portfolio in the specified regions. The collaboration is aimed at strengthening the company’s international presence and expanding its footprint in the energy storage and solutions segment across Africa.
Pace Digitek confirmed that the agreement has been executed with an international entity and does not involve any shareholding between the two parties. Additionally, the transaction does not fall under related party transactions, and there is no relationship between NEC XON and the company’s promoter or promoter group.
The financial consideration involved in the agreement will be governed by the commercial terms mutually agreed upon by both parties as part of the OEM Exclusivity Agreement.
