Marsons Limited has secured a contract worth ₹9.48 crore from West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) for the repair, inspection and testing of 50 MVA, 132/33 kV power transformers, including transportation services.
The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the disclosure, the order is valued at ₹9,48,36,600, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The scope of work includes repairing, inspecting and testing 50 MVA, 132/33 kV power transformers along with to-and-fro transportation.
The contract has been awarded by WBSETCL, a domestic power transmission utility responsible for the transmission network across West Bengal. The project is expected to be executed within a period of six to twelve months.
Marsons stated that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not constitute a related-party transaction. The company also confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority.
The order further strengthens Marsons Limited’s presence in the transformer services and power transmission infrastructure segment, adding to its order book in the domestic market.
