Bluspring Enterprises Limited has announced that its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, STEAG Energy Services (India) Private Limited, has been awarded a comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract for Bharat Aluminium Company Limited’s (BALCO) 1,740 MW power plant.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the contract carries an estimated aggregate value of ₹2,049.8 crore, including additional services. The agreement is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026, and will remain in force for a period of 60 months.
The contract involves the comprehensive operation and maintenance of BALCO’s 1,740 MW power generation facility. Bharat Aluminium Company Limited, a domestic entity, awarded the contract to STEAG Energy Services (India) Private Limited as part of its long-term power plant management strategy.
Bluspring Enterprises stated that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is classified as a domestic contract. The company further confirmed that neither the promoter, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in BALCO.
The company also clarified that the contract does not fall within the ambit of related-party transactions.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and was submitted to the stock exchanges on June 5, 2026.
