Marsons Limited has received a major domestic order valued at approximately ₹33.19 crore, including GST, from Vikran Engineering Limited for an NTPC Renewable Energy Project, strengthening its position in the power equipment manufacturing sector.
The order involves the supply of various quantities of 17.6 MVA, 8.8 MVA, and 4.4 MVA oil-cooled (ONAN), OCTC, outdoor-type, aluminium-wound inverter duty transformers. The total contract value stands at ₹33,18,85,730, according to the company’s disclosure submitted to the stock exchanges.
As per the disclosure, the contract has been awarded by Vikran Engineering Limited for execution under an NTPC Renewable Energy Project. The order is domestic in nature and is scheduled to be executed within a period of six months.
The transformers covered under the contract are designed for inverter-duty applications and include oil-cooled, outdoor-type units with aluminium windings. These products are expected to support renewable energy infrastructure associated with the project.
Marsons clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract. The company also confirmed that the transaction does not fall within the ambit of related-party transactions.
The order highlights Marsons Limited’s continued participation in India’s expanding renewable energy ecosystem and reinforces its capabilities in supplying critical transformer solutions for large-scale power projects.
