Ashoka Buildcon Limited has received a Letter of Contract Acceptance from the Ministry of Energy and Water, Republic of Angola, for a major power infrastructure project under the Electricity Sector Improvement and Access Project.
The contract, valued at USD 72.36 million, involves the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the rehabilitation of distribution networks for Lot 5 in Luanda City 2, Angola. The project is expected to be executed within a period of 24 months.
The award marks a significant international milestone for the company, further strengthening its footprint in global infrastructure development. The project has been granted by an international entity, reinforcing Ashoka Buildcon’s growing presence in overseas markets, particularly in the power and energy sector.
According to the company’s disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the contract does not involve any related party transactions, and no promoter or group company has any interest in the awarding authority.
This development aligns with Ashoka Buildcon’s strategic focus on expanding its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities across international markets while contributing to critical energy infrastructure upgrades.
