Jainik Power Cables will inaugurate a new cable manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana, on January 23, 2026, marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion strategy to scale up production and address growing demand from the power, infrastructure, industrial and renewable energy segments.
The new plant is designed to manufacture a broad portfolio of power and control cables used across electricity transmission and distribution networks, industrial installations, real estate developments and public infrastructure projects. The facility is equipped with modern manufacturing lines and testing systems to support stable output while adhering to relevant safety and performance norms.
Located in Sonipat, the unit is expected to strengthen Jainik Power Cables’ supply reach across northern India and improve distribution efficiency to other regions. The company said the plant’s proximity to major markets and transport corridors will help reduce delivery timelines and enhance customer service.
The facility has been planned with an emphasis on operational efficiency and quality control. It houses dedicated sections for conductor processing, insulation, sheathing and final testing, following established manufacturing and quality assurance practices to ensure reliability across residential, commercial and industrial applications.
The inauguration event will be attended by company leadership, industry stakeholders, customers and local representatives, and will formally mark the start of commercial operations at the site. Jainik Power Cables said the new unit reflects its long-term commitment to expanding manufacturing capacity in India.
The company also noted that the Sonipat plant will generate local employment and support skill development, with plans to recruit and train technical and operational staff from nearby areas.
Jainik Power Cables supplies cables for power distribution, industrial machinery and infrastructure projects, serving customers nationwide through distributors, contractors and project developers. With the addition of the Sonipat facility, the company aims to improve production flexibility, shorten turnaround times and strengthen its footprint in both established and emerging markets.
