Tata Motors has introduced the first major facelift of its Punch micro-SUV, bringing clear updates in design, safety, and technology. The refreshed Punch features new LED lighting, a 360-degree camera system, and improved connected-car functions, while safety has been strengthened with six airbags now offered as standard across all variants. Available in six trims and priced between ₹5.90 lakh and ₹9.95 lakh, the updated model builds on the Punch’s strong market performance, having recorded sales of over 6 lakh units since its launch in October 2021.
The facelifted Punch continues to carry its distinctive boxy stance while adopting design cues closely aligned with the electric Punch.ev. The exterior updates are aimed at giving the vehicle a more contemporary look while also improving overall functionality.
Notable exterior upgrades include reworked LED headlamps with sharper daytime running lights (DRLs) and LED fog lamps equipped with a cornering function. The front end gets a revised grille paired with sportier bumpers, while the rear is updated with a new LED tail-lamp cluster. Newly designed alloy wheels further enhance the refreshed visual appeal.
Usability has also been improved with the addition of automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a rear washer-wiper setup, offering better convenience for drivers in varied weather conditions.
The interior of the newly facelifted Tata Punch has been upgraded with high-end technology and improved safety features that set a new standard for its segment. To make driving easier and safer, the vehicle now includes a 360° surround-view camera, a blind-spot monitor, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. For added convenience, it also features a wireless charger and iRA connected-car technology to keep drivers linked to their vehicle. Most importantly, safety has been made a top priority; six airbags are now standard across every model. Combined with essential systems like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS, and tire pressure monitoring, the new Punch offers a more secure and modern experience for everyone on board.
The new Tata Punch offers two 1.2-liter engine options to suit your driving style. For high performance, the iTurbo engine delivers 120 PS and hits 0-100 kmph in 11.1 seconds via a six-speed manual gearbox. For everyday efficiency, the Revotron engine provides 87.8 PS and offers a choice between a five-speed manual or a convenient AMT transmission.
The facelifted model is available in six trims, ranging from the entry-level Smart (starting at ₹5.90 lakh) to the premium Accomplished+S (priced at ₹9.95 lakh). Customers can also choose from six fresh colors, including Cyantafic Blue and Caramel Yellow. Bookings are now officially open at all Tata Motors dealerships.
