Sharika Enterprises Limited Secures ₹50.04 Lakh NTPC Order for LED Solar Street Lights

Sharika Enterprises Limited has secured an order worth Rs. 50,03,822 from NTPC Limited for the supply, installation, and commissioning of LED-based solar street lights in villages surrounding NTPC Talcher Kaniha. The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The domestic service contract covers a six-month period for the supply and installation of LED solar street lighting systems, followed by a 60-month Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC). The project focuses on delivering sustainable, solar-operated lighting solutions to rural communities located near NTPC’s Talcher Kaniha operations, reflecting NTPC’s continued emphasis on clean energy initiatives and community development.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sharika Enterprises Limited will complete the execution phase, including procurement, installation, and commissioning, within six months from the commencement of the order. The extended AMC component ensures long-term operational reliability and maintenance support for the installed infrastructure.

Sharika Enterprises Limited confirmed that the order does not involve any related party transactions. The company further clarified that neither its promoter, promoter group, nor associated group companies hold any interest in NTPC Limited, thereby maintaining full compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.

This order strengthens Sharika Enterprises Limited’s presence in the renewable energy and smart grid solutions segment. The project aligns with broader national priorities related to rural electrification and sustainable development, while also highlighting the company’s capability to deliver infrastructure solutions for major public sector enterprises such as NTPC Limited.
