SEAMEC Consortium Secures ₹330 Crore ONGC Contract for Samudra Prabha O&M

SEAMEC Limited, in consortium with Supreme Hydro Pvt Ltd, has secured a major contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the ONGC-owned MSV Samudra Prabha. The contract, awarded under e-tender ZW5CC26001, is valued at approximately ₹329.92 crore, inclusive of GST.

The Notification of Award (NOA), dated March 26, 2026, pertains to O&M services for the vessel for the period 2026–2028. The contract tenure is 698 days and is scheduled to commence within 60 days from the date of the NOA.

The contract falls under SEAMEC’s normal course of business and has been awarded by a domestic entity. The company further clarified that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction, and neither the promoter group nor associated entities have any interest in ONGC.

This development reinforces SEAMEC’s position in the offshore energy services segment, particularly in providing specialized marine and vessel-based operational support to India’s upstream oil and gas sector.
