Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy technology, has been named the Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing, covering the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren F1 Academy, and the McLaren United Autosports WEC Hypercar Team. The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared focus on high performance, innovation, and engineering excellence.

Under the collaboration, Schneider Electric and McLaren Racing will jointly develop and deploy advanced energy technologies to support peak performance in demanding racing environments. This includes delivering robust and reliable power solutions at race circuits worldwide as well as at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK. The partnership is anchored in data intelligence, accelerated innovation, and a commitment to operational efficiency.

The alliance builds on a supplier relationship spanning more than two decades, during which both companies have worked on solving complex energy challenges where reliability and consistent performance are critical. As part of the partnership, Schneider Electric will support the optimisation of energy assets across McLaren’s operations, including wind tunnel facilities, manufacturing units, IT data centres, and other critical infrastructure. The focus areas include reducing energy consumption, enabling electrification through advanced technologies, and leveraging digital twin solutions to generate data-driven insights that enhance efficiency and sustainability.
