Power Mech Projects Limited has bagged a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract worth ₹2,500 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for the upcoming Singareni Thermal Power Station (TPS) Stage-II project in Telangana.
Under this prestigious order, Power Mech will undertake the complete balance of plant (BoP) works, including design, engineering, supply, erection, and commissioning for the 2×800 MW thermal power expansion at Singareni Collieries Company Limited’s (SCCL) facility.
This project reinforces Power Mech’s strong credentials in executing large-scale thermal power assignments and marks another significant collaboration with BHEL. The company’s expertise in handling end-to-end power infrastructure projects is expected to play a key role in the timely execution of this development.
The Singareni TPS Stage-II expansion is aimed at enhancing the state’s power generation capacity to meet rising industrial and domestic electricity demand, contributing to Telangana’s goal of energy security and sustainable growth.
