PG Electroplast Normalises Room AC Production After Addressing LPG Supply Constraints

PG Electroplast Limited has largely normalised its Room Air Conditioner (AC) production after implementing alternative energy solutions to address Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) supply constraints caused by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

In a regulatory disclosure dated March 25, 2026, the company informed stock exchanges that LPG supply disruptions had earlier impacted operations at some of its manufacturing facilities. The constraints arose as gas suppliers restricted supplies amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which created challenges for the company’s Room AC production lines.

To maintain operational continuity and fulfil customer commitments, PG Electroplast evaluated the evolving situation and actively explored alternative energy options for its manufacturing processes. The company subsequently identified and installed substitute energy solutions at its production facilities, enabling operations to stabilise.

According to the disclosure, the alternative arrangement has helped the company address LPG-related challenges to a significant extent for the time being, allowing production levels of Room AC units to return to near-normal levels.

The company had earlier informed stakeholders about the LPG supply constraints in March 2025 and stated that it would continue to monitor the situation closely while working on viable operational solutions.
