Ola Electric has expanded its ‘Ola Insiders’ Upgrade Program to more than 150 cities across India following a strong early response, with over 50,000 customers expressing interest within days of the initiative’s launch.
The expansion is expected to enable nearly 80% of Ola Electric customers nationwide to upgrade seamlessly to the company’s latest electric vehicles.
The upgrade initiative, introduced under the broader Ola Insiders community program, allows existing Gen 1 and Gen 2 scooter owners to transition to the company’s newest Gen 3 S1 portfolio and Roadster electric motorcycles, while availing attractive financial benefits.
Ola Electric spokesperson said, “The overwhelming response to the Ola Insiders Upgrade Program reflects the deep trust our community places in us. We are excited to take this program to over 150 cities, making it easier for 80% of our customers to upgrade to our latest products and continue their electric journey with Ola.”
Under the Ola Insiders community program, customers are offered three key benefits. Existing Gen 1 and Gen 2 users can upgrade their scooters and receive benefits of up to ₹50,000 on the latest Gen 3 S1 portfolio and Roadster motorcycles, including variants equipped with 4680 Bharat Cell technology. Existing customers adding another vehicle under the same registered name can avail the benefits of up to ₹20,000, which includes cashback and MoveOS upgrades. In addition, the referral program allows customers to earn up to ₹5,000 in Ola credits upon successful delivery, while the referred buyer receives ₹1,000 cashback.
The company currently offers a wide range of electric two-wheelers under its Gen 3 S1 and Roadster portfolios. The premium S1 Gen 3 lineup includes S1 Pro+ in 5.2kWh and 4kWh configurations, and S1 Pro in 4kWh and 3kWh variants, priced at ₹1,77,838, ₹1,57,838, ₹1,32,499, and ₹1,12,499 respectively. The mass-market range includes S1 X+ (4kWh) and S1 X (2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh) priced at ₹1,07,499, ₹84,999, ₹86,499, and ₹1,02,499.
In the motorcycle segment, the company offers the Roadster X+ in 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh variants priced at ₹1,09,999 and ₹1,89,999, respectively, while the Roadster X is available in 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh configurations priced at ₹79,999, ₹92,999, and ₹99,999.
With the expanded upgrade program, Ola Electric aims to accelerate the adoption of its latest electric vehicle platforms while strengthening engagement within its existing customer community.
