Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has received an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Rating Report from Stakeholders Empowerment Services (SES) ESG Research Pvt. Ltd., a SEBI-registered ESG Rating Provider. The development was announced on Saturday.

The ESG Rating Report has been independently prepared by SES ESG based solely on publicly available information and without any consultation with ONGC. The assessment reflects the perspective and methodology of Stakeholders Empowerment Services, reinforcing the independence of the evaluation process.

In addition, ONGC’s Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) has been reasonably assured by Bureau Veritas, providing third-party validation of the company’s sustainability disclosures.

ONGC also holds multiple international certifications, including ISO 50001 (Energy Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), underscoring its commitment to operational excellence, safety, and sustainability.
