NLC India Raises ₹1,300 Crore Through Commercial Paper Issuance

NLC India Limited, a Navratna public sector enterprise, has issued commercial paper (CP) worth ₹1,300 crore on February 6, 2026, as part of its funding strategy. The company has disclosed the issuance to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the BSE in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations.

The issuance comprises a total of 26,000 commercial papers, each with a face value of ₹5,00,000. The CPs have been structured in two tranches, one amounting to ₹800 crore and the other to ₹500 crore, aggregating to the total issuance value of ₹1,300 crore.

According to the disclosure, the issuance has been carried out under Regulation 30 and Regulation 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The disclosure document was digitally signed by Sushanta Kumar Panda, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of NLC India Limited, on February 6, 2026.

The company has formally informed both stock exchanges to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance. NLC India Limited is listed on the NSE under the symbol NLCINDIA and on the BSE with scrip code 513683.
