Laser Power & Infra Limited has secured fresh orders worth ₹8.36 billion from NTPC Limited, Kanpur Electric Supply Company Limited (KESCo) and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JdVVNL) for power cable supply and turnkey execution of distribution projects under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
According to the company, the largest order valued at ₹4.22 billion has been awarded by KESCo for system-strengthening works in Uttar Pradesh. The scope includes supply of distribution cables and conductors along with associated installation and infrastructure upgrades.
NTPC has issued a ₹2.12 billion contract for loss-reduction works in Udhampur and Reasi districts of Jammu & Kashmir. The project involves supply and execution of HT/LT cabling and related distribution improvements.
JdVVNL, Rajasthan, has placed an order worth ₹2.02 billion for feeder segregation and infrastructure development aimed at improving network reliability across its operational areas.
The company noted that these orders reinforce its presence in the national distribution network modernisation programme and strengthen its project portfolio across key states.
