KEC International Ltd. has secured new orders worth Rs 1,002 crore across multiple business segments, further strengthening its order book and expanding its presence in domestic and international markets.
The orders include projects in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment, such as 220/132 kV transmission lines, substations, and extra high voltage (EHV) cabling under a composite order in India. The company has also received an additional order for a 400 kV transmission line in the international market and supply orders for towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.
In addition, the company’s Cables & Conductors business has won orders for the supply of various types of cables and conductors in India and overseas markets.
Commenting on the development, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO, said the company is pleased with the latest order wins, particularly in the T&D business. He noted that the orders have significantly strengthened the T&D order book, led by the major composite order secured in India. He added that the new orders have also helped diversify the customer mix in the India T&D portfolio. With these wins, the company’s year-to-date order intake has reached approximately Rs 21,300 crore.
