Diamond Power Infrastructure Wins 869-km ECO Conductor Order from Tata Power Renewable Energy

iamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. (DPIL) has secured an order from Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL) for the supply of 869 kilometres of New Generation ECO Conductors for renewable energy evacuation projects across India, strengthening its position in next-generation transmission solutions for the clean energy sector.

The order covers multiple renewable power transmission sites across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, supporting grid connectivity for new renewable energy capacity and reinforcing DPIL’s role in India’s expanding renewable power infrastructure.

DPIL is expanding its portfolio of high-efficiency transmission conductors designed to meet the evolving requirements of modern grids and renewable energy integration. The company’s product range includes ECO Conductors, AL-59 Conductors, GAP Conductors, and HTLS (High Temperature Low Sag) Conductors, along with other advanced transmission solutions.

These conductors are engineered to carry higher power loads, operate at elevated temperatures, reduce transmission losses, and minimize sag, making them suitable for renewable energy evacuation corridors and high-capacity transmission networks.

In addition to conductors, Diamond Power is a major supplier of Medium Voltage power cables (3.3 kV to 33 kV) for solar, wind, and hybrid renewable projects.

Over the past two years, the company has supplied:

More than 12,000 km of Medium Voltage power cables
Over 18,000 km of AL-59 conductors

to renewable energy developers and power evacuation projects across India, supporting grid connectivity for new-energy installations.

Diamond Power has strengthened its technology and sustainability credentials through multiple certifications, including independent type-test certification for ECO Conductors, Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) compliant conductors with carbon emissions below 0.2%, and independent life-cycle certifications for various conductor products.

These certifications align the company’s offerings with international environmental and lifecycle transparency standards, enabling potential entry into global renewable energy and European transmission markets where low-carbon products are increasingly required.

The latest order from Tata Power Renewable Energy highlights growing demand for advanced conductor technologies capable of transmitting higher power through existing transmission corridors while improving grid efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

With its expanding portfolio of next-generation conductors, strong execution track record in renewable power evacuation infrastructure, and globally aligned sustainability certifications, Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. continues to strengthen its role in India’s energy transition and the broader global clean-energy transmission market.
