Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has announced the launch of a new range of Insulated Cables in the electrical wires and cables segment, with the rollout scheduled for the end of March 2026. The development was disclosed through a regulatory filing.
The company stated that the new product range, classified under Electrical Wires & Cables, will cater exclusively to the domestic market. While the launch does not meet the prescribed threshold of materiality, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals made a voluntary disclosure as part of its commitment to good corporate governance and transparency with stakeholders.
According to the filing, the disclosure has been made pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Para B of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI LODR Regulations, along with reference to SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/0155 dated November 11, 2024. The company clarified that there are no immediate plans to introduce this product line in international markets.
The launch of insulated wires and cables marks Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals’ strategic expansion into the electrical infrastructure segment, aligning with rising domestic demand for reliable and quality electrical products in India.
The announcement was signed by Rashmi Khandelwal, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, and submitted to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on February 6, 2026.
