Indian electric mobility platform BillionElectric Mobility (BillionE) has raised USD 25 million in a fresh funding round to scale up its electric truck operations across the country. The investment will be used to expand the company’s presence in the mid-mile and long-haul freight segments, strengthening India’s transition toward cleaner commercial transportation.
BillionE plans to deploy the capital to grow its electric truck fleet, enhance charging and energy management infrastructure, and build a robust ecosystem to support large-scale electric freight movement. The company focuses on enabling cost-effective and reliable electric logistics solutions for fleet operators, logistics companies, and industrial customers.
The expansion is expected to play a significant role in reducing carbon emissions and operating costs in the logistics sector, which accounts for a substantial share of India’s transportation-related emissions.
