1.How the second wave of Covid-19 is affecting the market and the company?

 

ANS : The first & second wave of Covid-19 has caused untold miseries to the business community.  On the one hand may establishments & shops are closed due to the lockdown restrictions, on the other hand, the overhead expenses have to be met by the owners.  Many workers, fearing even worse times compared to the first lockdown, migrated to their native places at the very onset of the second wave of Covid-19, without waiting for the official announcements by the state governments.  Also the partial lockdowns announced by the states was not simultaneous, but in a sort of relay system due to which atleast 4-5 states were closed at a time which also hampered business activities.  Movement of people and goods was also heavily affected.

 

2.What are the recent additions in your product bucket? Is there any plan to launch any new product?

 

ANS: Considering the slowdown in business due to Covid-19, our company also slowed down the introduction of new products. However, we recently launched a new 6000 counts, TRMS Auto ranging Digital Multimeter, to measure inverter voltage (2000V DC) of Solar Panels, Meters to measure the intensity of LED lights, new range of GAS Detectors, Loop Impedance Tester to comply with the new CEA regulations, Electroplating Thickness Gauge, Infrared Thermometers, Fork Clamp Meter, etc.

 

3.Please tell us about the key smart features of your products. 

 

ANS : All KUSAM-MECO products have high reliability and excellent repeatability. The construction of the products is rugged and can withstand rough use without comprising the quality.  If used properly, our products can give many years of service.  KUSAM-MECO has the largest range of High Safety “UL” Listed Digital Multimeters&Clampmeters which even “Phoren” brands do not have, who have only “CE” marking.  “UL” listed Multimeters&Clampmeters have Polycarbonate body unlike CE products.  UL products have sturdy Holster making it shock resistant, it has HRC fuses for Current range protection.  They have Surge Protection of 6-12 KV which again no “Phoren” brand has.

ANS : We at KUSAM-MECO constantly monitor customer’s requirement in the new emerging situations & research suitable products to fulfill the needs of the customers.

ANS :  We have a highly qualified & experienced team of Technical Engineers for providing after-sales-service for almost all our products to the satisfaction of the customer. We hold ISO certificate for AFTER-SALES-SERVICE for our products.  We have serviced some instruments even after 25 years after it was sold.

 

6.How do you distinguish yourself from others as far as your offered T&M solutions are concerned?

 

ANS : With sound technical knowledge, our engineers can provide the right product to the customer after studying his requirement, unlike other companies who simply push any product available with them to the customer even if it does not suit his requirements.

 

7.What are the future plans of Kusam-Meco? What will be the outlook of Indian Electrical industry in coming quarters?

 

ANS : KUSAM-MECO has plans to add about 10 new products in this year to cater to the competitive market requirements.  The Electrical Industry is passing through a difficult phase.  If the situation on the COVID front improves the industry may see a good  all  round growth rate in the later part of the year.
