Q.What sets your test devices and resistance meters apart from those of your competitors in terms of quality and innovation?

With a legacy spanning over a century, Motwane stands at the forefront of electrical test and measurement innovation. Our commitment to excellence is driven by four key pillars:

 • Cutting-Edge R&D

• Manufacturing Precision

 • Unwavering Quality and

• Best in Class Customer Service These principles empower us to deliver industryleading solutions that set new benchmarks in performance and reliability.

A key differentiator is our proprietary MOT-WARE platform—a cloud-based ecosystem designed for advanced fleet monitoring, predictive analytics, and seamless data integration. Embedded across our product range, MOT-WARE enables real-time insights, remote diagnostics, and interconnected operation of multiple test instruments, significantly enhancing efficiency and decision-making. At Motwane, we don’t just adopt technology—we pioneer its evolution, shaping the future of smart, data-driven testing solutions for the power industry

Q. What are the latest technological advancements integrated into your products?

At Motwane, we are redefining electrical test and measurement with cutting-edge innovations that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.

• Next-Gen Insulation Testing: Our latest insulation testers integrate advanced Battery Management System (BMS) technology, enabling self-replacement of lithium-ion batteries. This eliminates the need for factory servicing, reducing downtime by at least two weeks and ensuring uninterrupted operations.

 • Advanced Transformer Testing Solution: We have introduced a breakthrough multiplexing technology that allows multiple tests to be conducted with a single connection. This significantly reduces testing time while generating a comprehensive diagnostic report, offering deeper insights into transformer health.

• Smart Oil Testing: Our Oil BDV Tester and Oil Tan Delta Test Set now feature a unique QR code-based tracking system. This ensures seamless identification and pairing of oil samples with test reports, eliminating the risk of misidentification and enhancing traceability. Additionally, built-in fleet monitoring optimizes equipment performance, minimizing unexpected shutdowns and improving operational efficiency.

• Very Low Frequency (VLF) Test Set: Our compact VLF Test Set delivers a pure sine wave output for precise cable insulation testing. It provides a safer and more effective alternative to traditional DC high-voltage testing, which can degrade cables over time. This innovation replaces conventional DC Insulation Resistance testers and Hipot testers, offering superior diagnostics for modern power networks.

• Compac-12 Cable Fault Locator: Our latest compact Cable Fault Locator (CFL) is designed with a built-in pre-fault locating feature, streamlining fault detection and reducing troubleshooting time. With these technological advancements, Motwane continues to set new benchmarks in electrical testing, delivering smarter, faster, and more reliable solutions for the power industry.

Q. What are the company’s shortterm and long-term goals for expansion, and which regions or markets do you see as having the most growth potential?

At Motwane, our growth strategy is driven by a vision to revolutionize electrical testing and diagnostics through cutting-edge innovation and global expansion.

• Long-Term Vision: Our goal is to seamlessly integrate Offline Diagnostic Maintenance with Online IoT-based Condition Monitoring, creating a unified platform that delivers advanced analytics and predictive insights into the health and residual life of critical electrical assets. While Motwane Test & Measurement continues to lead in high-precision diagnostic instruments, Motwane Digital is pioneering next-generation analytics solutions for transformers and switchgear. Ultimately, we aim to develop a comprehensive analytics ecosystem that combines offline and online diagnostics, enabling power sector stakeholders to make data-driven, predictive maintenance decisions with greater accuracy.

 • Short-Term Focus: Customer satisfaction remains at the heart of our strategy. We are actively expanding our Test & Measurement portfolio with advanced diagnostic solutions, including:

• Very Low Frequency (VLF) testers for safer and more accurate cable insulation testing.

• Compact Cable Fault Locators (CFLs) for efficient fault detection.

• 6-Channel Winding Resistance Meters for faster and more comprehensive transformer diagnostics.

• Insulation Resistance Meters with selfreplaceable batteries, eliminating downtime for battery replacements.

• To enhance customer experience further, we are launching a nationwide Calibration Drive, ensuring proactive service support and minimizing instrument downtime across key industrial hubs. • Global Expansion: We see significant growth potential in Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, where rapid infrastructure development is driving demand for reliable testing solutions. Simultaneously, we are strengthening our presence in Europe and North America, where precision, efficiency, and data-driven diagnostics are increasingly valued.

Through these strategic initiatives, Motwane is shaping the future of electrical test and measurement, delivering smarter, more efficient, and future-ready solutions to industries worldwide.
