Q.How does Dirak India assist its customers in achieving maximum operational efficiency?
We assist our customers to achieve operational efficiency in many different ways. First is assistance in the product selection. We work with our customers design team and help them to identify the right product for their application. Despite having a very extensive standard product range, we develop new products based on specific needs. Second is our innovative product approach that can reduce installation time. Let me explain it through an example. Our SNAP technology offers hardware installation without the use of tools or mounting hardware such as screws or nuts. This technology offers a completely new way of reducing cost and in overall time saving. Another area where we assist our customers operational efficiency is through inventory management. We offer just-intime inventory for many of our customers
Q.Could you walk us through Dirak India’s extensive product portfolio and highlight the factors that give your brand a competitive edge in the market?
DIRAK manufactures mechanical and mechatronic hardware for enclosure industry. Specialized in latching, locking, hinging, and gasketing. Our competitive edge in the market is through product innovation, customisation and application engineering capability. Product innovation is our primary strength and we continue to bring in innovative new solutions to the market. We have more than 5000 catalogue parts from 11 product groups offering solutions to the diverse market segments. Apart from the standard catalogue parts, we have a big range of customized parts too based on specific customer needs. Application engineering is another major strength we have that gives us a competitive edge. Our application engineering team works with customer design team and helps them to identify the right product that suits their requirement.
Q.Could you provide technical specifications for one of your unique products, such as the QuarterTurn, Multi-Point Latches, or Mechatronic Locking Solutions?
I will explain Mechatronic locking solution which is a relatively newer product. After decades of leading the mechanical hardware industry with innovative designs for racks and enclosures, DIRAK integrated electromechanical, network and software components to create the premier mechatronic solution, E-Line by DIRAK. This offers many features like remote access, digital record of the access, two factor authorisation etc. If the enclosure requires a higher level of security, the system can be organized so that authorization is not approved unless two people with two unique cards and two unique pins use their credentials at the handle. We have many different versions of the lock integrated with RFID, Biometric or Keypad access. Solutions can be monitored through our own software or integrate to the building management software.
Q.In your opinion, what are the key growth opportunities for the Indian Panel Fittings Market in 2025?
India is on a rapid growth path and the pace of growth is only expected to accelerate going forward and we expect 2025 to be another great year for the panel fittings market. Apart from the growth in energy distribution, renewable energy, automation panels etc, many new market segments are opening up in energy storage, clean energy systems, EV infrastructure etc. Also, there is an increasing awareness to use better quality products.
Q.Can you elaborate on the application areas of Dirak India’s products and how they meet the diverse needs of your customers?
Our products go into various industries like Energy, Machine Construction, Railways, Transportation, IT and into any kind of Sheet-Metal Fabrication. Our products are used in specific applications that require higher IP ratings and vibration resistance
Q.How is Dirak India contributing to the growth and development of India’s Electric and Power sectors?
DIRAK has a long market presence in this market and we are into our 28th year of operation in India. We have been growing with the Indian market and have a deep understanding on the market needs. We have been a solution provider for almost every manufacturer in India’s electric and power sector. And we continue to support this segment through new product introductions, localisation and stepping up our efforts year on year.
Q.With the upcoming 16th edition of Elecrama, following the success of the 15th edition, what are your expectations from this mega event?
ELECRAMA has been the flagship showcase of Indian electrical ecosystem and it has been growing consistently both in terms of participation level and quality of organisation. We look forward to the exhibition to understand new trends in this market place along with networking opportunity with our existing and potential customers
