Q. Can you share some of the most significant milestones in Next Gen’s journey? What drives your passion for electrical equipment innovation?
NEXT GEN in the last 15 years has played a significant role in the Indian T&M Industry. We have been supplying very high quality, unique and reliable products and that has been a driving force in the Indian power sector. The products like C & TAN DELTA, Transformer Observimg System, High Voltage Testers, Highly Accurate CT’s & PT’s and very Reliable HV Dividers and Filters are in high demand products in the Industry. Indian power sector are growing with rapid pace with new and innovative products and services , we are also actively adding products which help customers to use these products for better test results , save time and efforts.
Q.What are the latest advancements in your equipment offerings, and how do they cater to industry demands?
We have launched various New equipment in last few years with user friendly interface and remote testing features and we are proud to say that all major Transformer manufacturer, Battery manufacturer as well as Third party Labs are our customers. With growing Demand of IDT Transformer in India and neighboring countries due to Solar Power, our 50 Amps Resistance Meter with Three Channel and Tow channel is benchmark with Simultaneous Heat Run Testing of All five Windings (1 HV & 4 LV) or Three Windings ( 1 HV & 2 LV) saving a lot of time and money for the manufacturers. We are proudly associated with India’s biggest solar Park in KHAWDA with most of the Transformer supplied there has been tested with Raytech units for Resistance, Ratio and C & Tan Delta Testing. ETL High Voltage Testers are present in all major Battery Manufacturing Plant in India i.e EXIDE, AMARA RAJA etc and most of the batteries manufacted in India are being tested with ETL Products. We have also supplied largest Standards PT of 400 KV used for calibration in this region which is unique for its accuracy of 0.005%.
Q. What materials and engineering innovations set your equipment apart from competitors?
User Friendly Integrated Interface , Repeatability of results, Accuracy and reliability of results makes our products best in the industry. We always take feedback from end user and try to incorporate these feature in the product through our principals which help end user of our equipment’s conveniently with better result . Raytech new mini ATOS and C & TAN DELTA Test Set, ETL HV Tester, ISOFARAD HV Dividers and HV Filters and EPRO Highest accuracy CT’s & PT’s used for Calibration of Instruments Transformers make us way apart from our competitors.
Q. How versatile is your equipment across different industries, and how do you tailor solutions to specific needs?
We are focusing mainly on T & M business and wish to maintain the existing customers, slowly increasing our customer base without sacrificing our quality and service support to all our existing customers. We are proud to say that our 100% units supplied in last 15 years are in use and have the same accuracy and repeatability of results. Our products are getting major share and demand from the customers with the growing demand of Testing equipment due to increase in production of Transformers, Switchgears and Cable and allied products, Slowly we are getting request form Utilities for our products as well.
Q. What quality control measures do you implement to maintain high standards in production?
Quality and reliability of our products are the benchmark in the industry. People do believe in the highest quality and reliability in our products and even repair and Services of these product are done by highly trained service team, use only genuine parts manufactured by principals, which helps our customers to use the product for longer span with same test quality. All our principal companies follow a very high standard in manufacturing and maintaining the same standard since last 15-20 years now. Selection of Vendors and products help our principals like RAYTECH, ETL, ISOFARAD & EPRO to provide most accurate, repeatable and reliable products which help users to use it for a very long time.
Q. How do you see the demand for your type of equipment evolving in the next five years?
With growing thrust on Renewable Energy and a lot of focus on installation of new base for SOLAR, HYDRO & WIND Power, a lot of demand of power products are in place at present. With most of the Power Companies having orders book full till 2027 or 2028, we see incremental demand for our products. A lot of companies are expanding their capacity to cater to the growing demand of power in India, we are very hopeful that next 4-5 years are going to be a massive for our growth as well. Customer trust, Reliable and acceptable Results and ease of use of our products make it even more favorable for our product demand in coming years.
Q. After celebrating its 15th glorious edition, Elecrama 2025 is coming up with a bang with its 16th edition so what kind of expectations are you looking for from this mega event?
We will be show causing some of our very unique products in ELECRAMA 2025 and all our principal companies will be available during the exhibition and all our customers and friends from the industry are most welcome to visit our stall No. H7D6 to discuss and take benefits. Also as Elecrama is a very good place to meet all our industry colleagues and friends, we are looking forward to strengthen our bond with Indian power Industry.
