L&T Energy Secures Order from NTPC for Thermal Power Plants in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar

L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions has been issued a ‘Limited Notice to Proceed’ (LNTP) by NTPC Ltd. for the development of key plant packages for two thermal power projects with a combined capacity of 4,000 MW in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. The projects consist of a 2x800 MW Stage II thermal power plant at Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh, and a 3x800 MW Stage II thermal power plant at Nabinagar, Bihar.

The order has been secured by L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions, a division of L&T, according to a regulatory filing by the company. "L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions has been issued a 'Limited Notice to Proceed' (LNTP) by NTPC Limited for setting up thermal power plants in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar."

The project involves the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning of boilers, turbines, electrostatic precipitators, and auxiliary, as well as the associated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil works.
