Senvion India has successfully installed the 3.1M130 turbine.

Senvion India, a leading turbine manufacturer in the wind energy sector, has announced a significant milestone with the successful commissioning of its upgraded 3.1M130 turbine, part of the 2XM series. This prototype is expected to be ready for commercial installation in India by Q1-25, following RLMM listing.

Amit Kansal, CEO and MD of Senvion India, emphasized that the installation of the 3.1M130 turbine highlights the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence. He noted that this new model is tailored for the Indian environment and grid conditions, ensuring optimal performance and grid stability. With over 80% localization, the turbine also contributes to job creation and supports the growth of the Indian economy.

It offers a longer lifespan and enhanced reliability, specifically engineered to tackle the challenges of the Indian landscape. The turbine's robust nacelle is equipped with a sophisticated control system to maintain high performance even in low wind conditions. This model builds on the proven technology of the well-received 2.7M130 turbine.
