MNRE Expands Solar Module Capacity in ALMM by 4,089 MW

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has increased the solar module capacity in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) by 4,089 MW.

This expansion includes the addition of new companies such as Avaada Electro, Laxmi Solar Power System, and Uratom Solar, contributing 554 MW, 121 MW, and 46 MW, respectively. Additionally, three companies already on the list—Tata Power Solar, Jakson Engineers, and SASA Energy—have increased their listed capacities by 2,697 MW, 662 MW, and 9 MW, respectively. The total solar module manufacturing capacity in the ALMM now stands at 54,076 MW. The MNRE has also revised the guidelines for inspecting and finalizing the enlistment of manufacturers who are provisionally listed under the ALMM order.
