Lockdown constraints amid second wave of Covid-19 a downside risk for electricity demand: ICRA

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) during a ceremony held in the Main Conference Hall of the Administrative Building of RINL, which is the corporate arm of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
The MoU documents were exchanged by AK Bagchi, director (projects) and additional charge director (operations), RINL and B. Anil Kumar, executive director and state head (TPSO-Telangana, Andhra Pradesh State Office), IOCL. The occasion was attended by senior executives from both RINL and IOCL, including R. Uday Kumar, Executive Director (Lubes), IOCL, and U. Sridhar, Chief General Manager (Works) I/c, RINL.
AK Bagchi explained that the Memorandum of Understanding will serve as a benchmark for collaborative efforts between different industries towards nation-building. He expressed his gratitude to IOCL for the development of crucial grades of lubricants to meet RINL's stringent operational requirements.
R. Uday Kumar described the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding as a "milestone day" and highlighted the long-standing relationship between RINL and IOCL, which is based on trust and professional excellence.
